ZAMBIA

Our partner Stir the Fire Ministries was founded by John and Judith Kiseba in Zambia in the year 2000. It was registered on 12th February, 2002.

They started with 6 orphan children who they took into their home, they became more like their own children on top of their own 7 biological children. Since that time the Ministry has been growing to what it is today with many children, staff and churches.

Currently, Stir the Fire Ministries is running two community schools and feeding programs. The main one being in Twapia Ndola with 270 children and the other one Baluba in Luanshya with 230. Both of these schools have children with no formal education but through their supporters, they managed to feed and teach them.

Stir the Fire Ministries has nine churches in Copperbelt and North-Western provinces each with one leading Pastor working with other leaders.

Stir the Fire Ministries also has a farm and garden where they grow vegetables and corn to subsidise the feeding programs as the cost of food very expensive in Zambia.
